Now that my short sale has closed escrow, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the customer service I received while interfacing with Leslie Peraza and her team of associates.   Leslie represented me as a seller’s agent for my transaction.
I first started my short sale with a different agent, and things were not progressing the way I had hoped they would. Every short sale is unique, and most all banks have specific ways the paperwork is to be submitted. I soon came to find out that not all real estate agents that were successful in the business when the market was good, were successful in closing deals in this current market we are dealing with today. My next step was to change agents; Leslie came highly recommended from a co-worker. I called Leslie immediately and the next thing I knew we were meeting to discuss my situation. 
She began working very aggressively in her open house and marketing strategies. Offers were coming in right away. We had all the paperwork submitted and were just waiting to hear back from the banks. What happened next was a shocker to us all. Bank of America bought out Countrywide and we had to re-submit all of our paperwork using the B of A format. The next set back we encountered was the 1st and 2nd mortgage providers not agreeing on their portions of the settlements. Their was a lot of back and forth email correspondence and paperwork. Leslie kept me in the loop every step of the way. As soon as she had any new info she was calling and emailing me, I was never in the dark with anything going on, and for me, peace of mind is the most valuable form of customer service I could ever ask for. Enough time went by that the 2nd mortgage ended up going to a collection agency. This unfortunate set back however did not slow or demotivate Leslie and her team one bit. They were determined to see this through to the end. If anything, Leslie used that setback to fuel her ambitions and motivations in moving forward. 
With Leslie’s aggressive open house marketing style, we never had an issue with getting a buyer. The biggest challenge, was keeping the buyer interested while everything was being reviewed by the banks. Sure enough, the bank and the collection agency eventually agreed. The buyer was still on board and Leslie and her team did everything humanly possibly to ensure we would close escrow within our time parameters. The customer service I received while interfacing with Leslie and her team was above and beyond anything I expected. I am eager to begin re establishing myself in the real estate market and using Leslie and her team to help my family and I get into our next home.
